NGC 7243 is a sparse open cluster located in the constellation Lacerta. It contains around 40 member stars and is located at a distance of around 2800 LY. It has an apparent magnitude of 6.4 and a visual diameter of around 30 arc-min. Most of the member stars are blue-white giants, indicating that the age of the cluster is around 100 million years.
